Eliaquim Mangala has made it known that he does not want a move to Monaco, despite the best efforts of new agent Jorge Mendes, according to French newspaper Le 10 Sport.
The highly-rated 22-year-old is one of Europe's most sought after
prospects and the news may potentially pave the way for a move to the
Premier League at the end of the season.
Both Chelsea and Manchester City have expressed an interest in taking on the French international and,
if reports are to be believed, are keen to bring him to England.
And now Mangala has told his agent, the
recently hired 'super-agent' Jorge Mendes, that he does not wish to move to Monaco, who were also linked with his signature.
Monaco have been in touch with Porto over a possible transfer which
would activate his release clause which stands at around £37million.
However Mangala has rejected the move to France, and instead is hoping to secure a move to the Premier League.
