Luiz May Be Kissing The Bridge Bye If Barca Step Up

Will Luiz be on his way to Barcelona?

La Liga champions Barcelona remain keen on signing Chelsea defender David Luiz - although only a bid of around €35m will tempt the Blues into selling the Brazil international, according to MARCA.
The Catalan giants attempted to sign Luiz last summer, but their €25m offer was rejected by the Premier League outfit.
However, reports suggest that Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho would consider selling the versatile defender if Barcelona meet his valuation of the player.
Barcelona fear that Luiz's value will rise after the 2014 World Cups finals in Brazil, and are subsequently keen to wrap up a deal before the start of the tournament.
The team's current head coach Gerardo Martino - who, if rumours are to be believed, may not be in charge at the Camp Nou for the start of the 2014/15 campaign - is on the look out for a long-term successor for Carles Puyol, who appears to be coming towards the end of his career.
