Bring Back The Rock To Ghana - Joe Addo

Ex-Ghana international Joe Addo wants the immediate return of 'intelligent' defender John Mensah to the Black Stars ahead of the World Cup play-offs.
The 30-year-old has been frozen out of the team due to his lack of first team action at French side Rennes.
The former Sunderland man strong centre-back has suffered from persient injuries which has taken a toll on a rather fine football career.
The Black Stars managed a hard-fought 2-1 win over Zambia to qualify to the World Cup play-offs but the central defensive problems in the team has dominanted the major talking points.
The central defensive pair of John Boye and Jonathan Mensa is yet to work to perfection with fears their partnership could prove disastrous ahead of the crucial play-offs with a yet to be named team.
Joe Addo, who played for the Black Stars for a decade is clamouring for the return of the experienced defender to 'save' the situation.
'We need John Mensah back in the team. To be honest with you he is the most experienced and intelligent central defender we've had in the last ten years,' Addo told Oman FM
'It's obvous we have problems at the back. No one comes close to the quality of a fit John Mensah.
'If I have any opportunity to advise the coach, I will not hesistate to advise him to re-call him.
'He may not have the energy as compared to the younger ones, but he's experienced and very intelligent.
'If you want to do a fair assessment of the situation, you'll realize that we need John Mensah back in the team. He is solid and I believe if he's fit, he should be in the team.'
Mensah was the captain of the team until Asamoah Gyan was appointed to replace him ahead of the 2013 African Cup of Nations in South Africa.
