Tottenham Set To Take Over North London

Will Tottenham overtake Arsenal? (©GettyImages)

Tottenham Hotspur have always added extra flair to the Premier League.
Teams such as Chelsea and the two Manchester clubs pave their way with caution when Spurs are in the midst.
The sleeping giant is ready to be awakened and it seems that Andre Villas-Boas has that very spell to ‘release the Krakan’.
His tactics implement well into Tottenham's squad and this year may be the year where the Londoners begin to overtake bitter rivals, Arsenal.
Tottenham may have lost arguably their biggest player to Real Madrid, but they will still remain as genuine top four contenders.
Villas-Boas has strengthened his squad considerably using the Bale funds to create a squad that, on paper, is better than a side with the record-breaking Bale in it.
The likes of Roberto Soldado, Paulinho and Erik Lamela have all moved to White Hart Lane, though they did miss out on Willian who opted for Chelsea when the player seemed all but certain to be heading to north London.
Nevertheless, Tottenham are looking solid whereas Arsenal are looking sluggish, despite their early season win over AVB's side. How they fare with the arrival of Mesut Ozil remains to be seen, but I believe this is the year Spurs can become the dominate force in north London.
