Ozil's Lifestyle Spiralled His Madrid Exit

Arsenal's latest signing Mesut Ozil might be a very good football player, but his lifestyle off the pitch was far from ideal, and was thus shown the door by Real Madrid, according to Spanish newspaper El Mundo.
Madrid - who had recently offloaded the playmaker for a fee of around €50 million on transfer deadline day - have received much flak from players and fans alike off the club for letting Ozil go, with star forward Cristiano Ronaldo saying the German's move was "very bad news for me".
However, with the latest reports from Madrid based paper El Mundo saying the player was allowed to move on due to his way of life when not on the pitch, the club seems to be trying to justify its decision by indicating that it was the player who brought about his own departure from the club.

The paper claims Madrid was worried with Ozil's frequent rendezvous with women and believed it affected his fitness on the pitch. The club was not very comfortable with his lifestyle which subsequently resulted in the acceptance of the idea of letting the 24-year-old leave the club this summer.
Ozil had arrived in Madrid in the summer of 2010 and although he was one of the best players during his time with the club, he had often struggled to give 100 per cent for the entire duration of a match, due to his low fitness levels, prompting former manager Jose Mourinho to repeatedly substitute the player during a game.
El Mundo in their attempt to support Madrid's decision to let Ozil go let bare the details about Ozil's private life in a spread yesterday.
Apparently, the German 'Messi' had a painful breakup with former girlfriend Anna Maria Lewe a few months after the pair's move to Madrid in 2010 with the 32-year-old later saying: "That way of life wasn’t for me.”
After his split with Anna, Ozil had a brief fling with a Turkish singer before hooking up with former Miss Venezuela contestant Aida Yespica.
El Mundo claims Ozil used to make trips by a private plane to meet Yespica in Milan, where the model works or Paris, where they used to meet up in hotels, for marathon sex sessions several times in a month.
And these frequent meetings were becoming a concern for both country and club as it was German national team coach Joachim Low who first approached Madrid and asked the club to try and keep a check on Ozil as he believed the trips were causing fitness problems for the player.
The paper further says that Mourinho tried to warn and talk the player out of his relationship with the 31-year-old model as he had heard quite a few stories about her during his time with Inter Milan.
The South American beauty is apparently quite famous in Italy as she has had affairs with several high profile names like former Roma player Matteo Ferrari, from whom she has a son, Adrian Mutu, Filippo Inzaghi and even former Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi.
Ozil is currently in a relationship with German pop star Mandy Capristo who reportedly started dating the player just hours after her split with a rapper known as Kay One.
Though they have yet to complete a year together, the couple is not shying away from showing their commitment to each other in public, as they share a joint facebook account where they regularly post messages of love and erotic sketches.
