Chicarito Good For Chelsea

Manchester United back-up striker Javier Hernandez is perfect for solving Chelsea's striking dilemma. 
He may be a favourite with the Old Trafford faithful, as well as being the complete opposite with Chelsea fans, but the little striker would be brilliant in a Chelsea shirt.
Fernando Torres has become a completely different player at Chelsea to the one we saw at Liverpool. At Anfied, Torres had space to run at opponents because the midfield was far more rigid than the players employed in Chelsea's midfield.

Steven Gerrard would receive the ball and then immediately look for Torres who would be playing off-the-shoulder of the last defender. Gerrard's superb passing ability made it easy for Torres to find space.
At Chelsea, the Spaniard is stifled by the advancing midfield players who regularly bypass him in an attempt to walk the ball into the goal.
Hernandez is the type of player who would feed off the scraps of the midfield and score 15-20 goals a season.
Chelsea are very indirect these days, compared to the Liverpool team of 2009, who were built around the striker.
The Chelsea team doesn't move at the same pace as Torres, they are not looking to get him one-on-one with the defenders, they are looking to build a steady attack that will result in a killer pass and a goal.
Hernandez creates exceptional movement to fool defenders. He would be superb in the box and would feed off the chances that Torres is unable to take advantage of. Hernandez goes unnoticed because of his clever movement, an attribute rarely rewarded at Old Trafford.
So, why have the Blues not made a bid for the striker?
He is obviously happy to be a part of the United squad and has been in Manchester for over four years now, scoring most of his goals against Chelsea, why would the forward want to join the team he always scores against? After all, Torres did and looked what happened to him.
The United number 14 signed a new five year contract in October 2011 and would not be allowed to be dragged away for cheap.
Hernandez has made 36 appearances in each of the last two seasons, scoring 30 goals in that time. He has scored eight goals against the Blues.
With the sale of Wayne Rooney always a long-shot, surely the Chelsea hierarchy would have been sensible in offering Hernandez an attractive deal, and possibly one of Chelsea's many unwanted prospects in exchange for the 'Little Pea'.
