Are Chelsea Favourites To Win The Premier League?

With Jose Mourinho back at the helm of Chelsea, many people believe that the Premier League title is bound to go in only one direction this season - Stamford Bridge.
The addition of Andre Schurrle from Bayer Leverkusen shows real intent from Mourinho and will surely help boost the club's attacking options and provide greater service for Fernando Torres too.
However, the attacking midfielder is no stranger to finding the back of the net himself, scoring 14 goals in 43 games in his final season with Leverkusen.
But becoming the best club in England isn’t going to be an easy feat to achieve. You can be sure that the current champions Manchester United have the talent in their ranks to retain their title.
However, the lingering doubt is whether or not new reds boss David Moyes has the managerial prowess to accomplish the task in his first season at the club.
Manchester City have yet again spent big this transfer window with almost £100 million splashed out on players such as Jesus Navas and Fernandinho.
New citizens boss Manuel Pellegrini clearly has the full backing of the owners, who are desperate to see the Premier League trophy glistening in the Etihad trophy room next season.
Arsene Wenger also insists that Arsenal have money to spend. Gunners Chief Executive Ivan Gazidis told The Independent: “He (Arsene) is not scared to spend money, but he has to believe he’s getting a top class player.”
Arsenal recently submitted a bid of £40,000,001 for Liverpool’s Luis Suarez - the additional £1 was added to try to trigger the Uruguayan’s release clause in his contract.
This has sparked a huge debate with Suarez’ advisers adamant he may leave the club. However, Liverpool say that that isn’t the case and they only need to inform Suarez an offer has been made.
