Sammy Ameobi is reluctant to leave Newcastle United on-loan this season. The winger has impressed Toom boss Alan Pardew in preseason. Ameobi told the Evening Chronicle: "Hes always believed in my ability, but it was my application that he wasnt sure about. "Going to Middlesbrough on loan last season, and learning what its like to be a big part of a team, really helped me. "Its helped by my work ethic. Thats helped me this pre-season. Hopefully, Ill continue doing that. I want to do it on the Premier League stage." |
