Inter star Sent Off For Horror Tackle On John Terry

Chelsea captain John Terry had a lucky escape during what should have been a routine pre-season friendly with Inter Milan, after being on the receiving end of Hugo Campagnaro's horror tackle.
Renowned for being low-key affairs often played out at a painfully slow tempo, this 'friendly' was anything but. Campagnaro's mis-timed lunge not only put Terry at risk, but sparked a mini-brawl between the two sides.
Campagnaro, a summer signing from Napoli, was shown a straight red card by the referee, and the Argentine defender reluctantly accepted his verdict.
To get sent off in a pre-season fixture takes some doing, but Campagnaro fully deserved to be shown a red card for a tackle that could have caused serious damage to the former England captain.
Already trailing Jose Mourinho's side 2-0, the Italians were forced to play out the remainder of the game with 10 men after the 33-year-old stopper's mis-timed lunge.
It's worth mentioning that Terry recovered and played the full 90 minutes, but the Blues' club captain will be grateful he's not facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines as the start of the 2013/14 Premier League season beckons.
