The prospect of the Nigerian wasting away in the Baggies' Reserves is great as no club is yet to meet his valuation
Peter Odemwingie faces a testing future with the new season just some days away as the Nigerian is yet to find a solution to his West Brom conundrum. It was reported in some media outlets on Monday that Dubai club, Al Nasr had made an improved offer of £1.5 million for the striker but that has since been denied by the club. The Dubai-based club had offered £850,000, which was rejected.
West Brom value Odemwingie at £2 million and have already rejected three bids from Premiership clubs – Crystal Palace, West Ham and Fulham.
Sources close to the player say he is angling for a move to another Premier League club because of his family, as he just became a dad this year.
The 32-year old now has about four weeks to sort out his West Brom future which unravelled in January when he tried to force a move to relegated Queens Park Rangers.
