Kano Pillars Coaches Involved In Auto Crash In Kaduna



Coaches of Masu Gida were brutally involved in an accident on their way back from a Federation Cup game in Ilorin
All the coaches of Kano Pillars are presently in a Kano hospital after they were injured in an accident on their way back from Ilorin where they lost 3-0 to Warri Wolves in a Federation Cup game.

iSoccer Entertainment learnt that the accident was so serious that a road side motor mechanic died immediately.

Kano Pillars media officer, Idris Malikawa described how it happened.

"The bus that was carrying the coaches was on top speed and one of the front tyres bust in motion and the bus swerved off the road and collided with a packed trailer.

"It took place at Gangarida in Ikara Local Government Area of Kaduna state at about 2 pm.

"But before it collided with the trailer, it hit a road side mechanic called Abdu who died on the spot.

"The coaches that were in the bus include the technical adviser, Baba Ganaru, chief coach Aliyu Makaiba and Kabiru Baleria.

"They were injured and were immediately rushed to Kwanar Dangora Clinic in the town where they were given first aid treatment.

"When they recovered and were able to regain consciousness, they were transferred to Murtala Hospital, Kano.

"We are not sure they will recover fully for the League game against Akwa United this weekend in Kano. But for now they are recovering and we will see whether they can come for the game," Malikawa said.
