Pellegrini Is 'Like Wenger' - Samir Nasri

Manchester City star Samir Nasri has heaped praise on new manager Manuel Pellegrini saying the Chilean reminds him of Arsene Wenger.
Nasri had a difficult season last year, failing to find his top form and being openly criticised by Roberto Mancini in the process.
Now, however, the Frenchman claims he is full of confidence along with the rest of the squad and attributes that fact to the appointment of Pellegrini.
He is quoted in The Sun as saying: “He talks with the players. What I like about him is that he talks about things outside football.
“He asks you how you are in your life. It’s important for a manager to know those things. He’s kind of a psychologist.
“For me, he is a little bit like Arsene Wenger. Same kind of training. Same attitude as well.
“He stays present in the training and is not scared to stop the training when something is wrong."
The 26-year-old has also said he is prepared to fight for his place after the club brought in several new attacking players.
Jesus Navas is has been brought in from Sevilla and the Spaniard may represent direct competition for Nasri. However, Nasri is happy with the depth of the squad and just wants to put a tough season behind him and move on.
“At a top club you have to be prepared to fight for your place," he said.
“We have a great squad and I’m confident we can achieve what we want.
“Last year was the toughest season of my career. I had a lot of injuries and didn’t perform for six months.
"I just don’t want to look back. I want to be focussed on this season with the new manager and give everything for the people who brought me to the club."
