Inter Milan Want New Chelsea Star Wallace On Loan
Inter Milan are pursuing the possibility of signing Chelsea’s Brazilian right-back Wallace on loan, according to his agent.
The Nerazzurrri recently missed out on signing Napoli’s Juan Zuniga, but after he decided to stay at the Stadio San Paolo, they have decided to look at other options.
Wallace was signed by Chelsea from Fluminense last December, and was loaned back to the club until the end of last season, as his lack of international appearances prevented him from being given a work permit.
The 19-year-old played for his new team for the first time in their pre-season tour of Asia, but he is not expected to hold a regular starting place in the first team next season, with Cesar Azpilicueta and Branislav Ivanovic both ahead of him in the pecking order.
His agent Federico Moraes said to FC InterNewsTV: "He should end up in Italy.
"My assistants are in London right now and there should be a meeting to discuss Wallace's future. Chelsea are flying [to the USA] and he's not just going to stay in London doing nothing.
"If [Inter] want him, then I think a deal can be done in an instant."
Roma and Napoli have also shown an interest in taking Wallace on loan, and Chelsea are keen on giving him a better chance of playing regularly.
