Chelsea Football Club have announced that Hackett London will supply the Premier League club with formal wear until 2016.
The luxury British menswear firm has strong links to west London,
just like the Blues and will now dress the first-team squad, management
and coaching staff.
Ron Gourlay, Chelsea FC Chief Executive, said: “We are very pleased
to be working with an iconic and internationally renowned company like
Hackett.
“They offer the very best in British design and fashion and we look
forward to forming a fantastic partnership with them over the next three
years.”
Hackett began life on the King’s Road, just around the corner from
Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge ground and their flagship store is located in
Chelsea.
Jeremy Hackett, Chairman and Co-Founder of Hackett London, said supporting the ‘local team’ was a huge bonus in the new deal.
“I have lived and worked in Chelsea and our flagship store is located in Chelsea,” said Hackett.
“When I was approached to dress the Chelsea team in formal kit it seemed the perfect opportunity to support the local team.”
