Super Eagles star John Obi Mikel got the first dose of the ‘new’ Jose Mourinho after making a debut training session on Monday under the Portuguese coach since making a switch from Real Madrid in June 2013.
Mikel is one of the late arrivals in the Chelsea camp having been granted extended holidays owing to national team engagements, which saw him, featured for the Super Eagles at ehe last FIFA Confederations Cup in Brazil.
Currently in the United States to take part in a pre-season tournament, Mikel who has been a subject of transfer speculations finally had a session with the rest of the Chelsea squad and indeed a chat with the ‘Happy One’ himself.
It is expected that Mikel’s future at the Bridge will be clearer in the coming days with growing speculations first suggesting a reunion with Didier Drogba in Turkey and later other reports pointing to the Ligue 1 to join big spenders, Monaco.
