Gareth Bale To Cost Real Madrid €145m

Real Madrid will need to offer an astronomical fee of €145m if they want to sign Tottenham star Gareth Bale this summer, according to Marca.
On Tuesday, the Spanish newspaper's front page claimed that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has slapped the new price tag on the 24-year-old in order to send a clear message to Real Madrid: that Bale is not for sale.
However, if the reports are true, Levy's latest move is likely to further infuriate Bale, who is believed to be determined to force a transfer through this summer.
The Wales international has been linked with Los Blancos on a daily basis in recent weeks, and appears to have made his mind up with regards to where he wants to play his football next season.
Nevertheless, Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas expects Bale to feature in the club's pre-season friendly against AS Monaco this weekend.
"I won't comment on anything," Villas-Boas told reporters after being questioned about Bale's future following last weekend's 6-0 pre-season victory over South China. "I am so sorry. I can't speak about speculation."
The Portuguese coach, who has enjoyed a good working relationship with Bale over the last 12 months, can expect further questions after the Monaco friendly this weekend - particularly if his star player doesn't feature.
