Didier Drogba Offered Chelsea Return

Jose Mourinho wants Didier Drogba back at Chelsea and is ready to offer him a player-coach role to help the club’s strikers.
According to the Express, Chelsea’s new manager wants a reunion with the players he brought to Stamford Bridge in a £24million deal from Marseille.
The report claims Mourinho still believes the 35-year-old still has a lot to offer on the pitch but also wants him to help coach the Blues strikers.
Drogba is currently playing with Turkish champions Galatasaray and this report claims they have refused to negotiate any sale and insist he will not be leaving before his contract expires at the end of next season.
Chelsea experienced problems with their strikers scoring regularly in the Premier League last season and Mourinho believes Drogba’s experience will be able to help in that area.
A deal is already being drawn up, as Mourinho is prepared to help his former charge gain his coaching badges while with the Blues.
Drogba won two Premier League titles while playing under Mourinho at Chelsea and the pair remained close after the Portuguese left in 2007.
